Established in 1980, JMI Software Consultants, Inc. (JMI) provides contract software development services to a variety of businesses and industries. Our technical staff, with an average of over twenty years of experience, can address virtually any programming task quickly and cost-effectively. We understand that return on any development investment depends upon quality and an extended, reliable service life, and we have the skills and experience necessary to produce systems that are robust, portable, and maintainable.
 

JMI is not a staff placement agency or “coding shop.” We work with our clients in all phases of the development cycle, from functional specification and internal design through coding, testing, documentation, installation, training, and maintenance. Consequentially, our commitment to our customers, as well as to our employees, is long-term. All of our technical staff members are full-time W-2 employees, many with advanced degrees, and our average employee tenure approaches 15 years.
 

JMI uses C/C++ as its standard programming language. Our staff members have accumulated over three centuries of C/C++ development experience using virtually all commercial development tools and computing platforms. We are also capable of developing systems using other programming languages, as needed by the client, including assembler, PHP, .NET, VB, Java, J2EE, RPG, and Tcl/Tk.

JMI is particularly noted for its expertise in systems-level software and multi-threaded, event-driven programming.
